The Drake University women's basketball team is set to play in Hoops in the Heartland in the Quad Cities on Thursday March 9. The No. 7 Bulldogs are set to take on No. 10 Bradley at 7pm on ESPN+.
 
The 17-12, 9-9 Bulldogs are on a five-game winning streak after defeating both Evansville and Indiana State last weekend.
 
Drake defeated the Purple Aces on Friday in overtime, 80-71. Redshirt-junior forward Grace Berg led Drake with 20 points and added nine rebounds.
 
Junior guard Megan Meyer added 17 points while grabbing seven rebounds.
 
The Bulldogs then went to Terre Haute to take on Indiana State. Drake won 86-71 after coming back from a 15-point deficit.
 
Freshman guard Katie Dinnebier led the Bulldogs with 20 points against the Sycamores. She set a new career high as she beat her previous career high by one point.
 
Her performance against the Sycamores earned her Valley Newcomer of the Week, as announced March 7, for the second time this season.
 
The 4-23, 1-17 Braves are on a seven-game losing streak as they head to Moline.
 
In their most recent meetings, Bradley fell to Drake and Illinois State.
 
Despite giving Drake a run, the Braves fell 77-71.
 
Freshman Caroline Waite and senior Tatum Koenig combined for 43 points.
 
Bradley held a two-point lead over Illinois State on March at the end of the first quarter, but it wasn't enough momentum for the Braves to finish on top.
 
In the nine-point loss, junior Sierra Morrow and senior Chloe Rice combined for 22 of the Braves 53 points.
 
The last time the two teams met in Moline, as last season in the Championship game when Bradley won 78-70.
 
The winner of the meeting will go on to play No. 2 Missouri State on Friday at 6pm.
