ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- Five members of the Drake University women's basketball team have earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors, as announce by the Valley office Wednesday March 9.
Two Bulldogs earned
All-MVC First Team accolades – redshirt-junior
Grace Berg and junior
Megan Meyer.
Berg, the reigning MVC Newcomer of the Year, averages 12.0 points per game this season and has started all but two games. She was a 2021 First Team selection, as well as Newcomer Team member.
Meyer leads the Bulldogs in scoring this season with 12.4 points per game. She recorded a career high 22 points wit

h six made three's twice in the second half of the season. She recorded 19 games scoring in double-digits and 11 games as Drake's leading scorer. She is the only Bulldog to start and play in all 29 games thus far.
Meyer also earned
All-MVC Newcomer Team honors after she joined the Bulldogs this summer after two seasons at Iowa. She was a three-time MVC Newcomer of the Week winner this season.
Junior forward
Maggie Bair, reigning Sixth Player of the Year, earned
All-MVC Honorable Mention. She started 27 games for Drake and averages 11.9 points per games, 5.7 rebounds per game and averages 1.1 blocks per game. She recently made Drake history books when she recorded her 86
th block to make her way into eighth place. She also holds ninth place in individual season records as she recorded 45 blocks last season in 25 games.
Bair leads the Valley in field goal percentage, as she records .531 with 136 makes on 256 attempts.
The Bulldogs landed two on the
All-MVC Freshman Team, guard
Katie Dinnebier and forward
Anna Miller.

Dinnebier, a two-time MVC Newcomer of the Week winner, was the only freshman in the Bulldogs starting lineup as she started 27 games, missing two due to injury. She averages nine points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, and 3.1 assists per game. She leads the Bulldogs in assists (91) and steals (41).
Miller, who earned MVC Newcomer of the Week Jan.24, leads Drake in blocks and rebounds this season. Her 41 blocks earned her the number 11 spot in Drake record books for most in a single season. She ranks in sixth place in the Valley for blocked shots this season.
The Bulldogs begin post-season play Thursday March 10.
