DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University women's tennis team defeated Bradley, 6-1, Sunday afternoon. Prior to the match, the Bulldogs recognized their three seniors --
Liza Petushkova,
Kelsey Neville, and
Daria Walczak.
The Bulldogs took an early lead after winning two doubles matches to claim the point in doubles play.
Darinka Stepan claimed the Bulldogs second point when she won 6-1, 6-3 in her singles match.
Mille Haagensen and Walczak picked up the Bulldogs third and fourth points after winning their matches.
Bradley picked up its only point when Nicola Perlwitz defeated Neville 0-6, 6-2, 6-2.
The Bulldogs won the last two singles matches to take home the overall win.
Drake returns to action April 15 in Springfield, Mo. where they will take on Missouri State.
