SPRINGFIELD, Missouri -- The Drake University women's tennis team finished conference play undefeated after sweeping Missouri State 7-0 on Saturday April 16. The Bulldogs earned the Regular Season Champion title after the win. The Bulldogs Regular Season Champion title is the first since 2018.

The Bulldogs started the day with two wins in doubles play, giving them the point. 

Mille Haagensen picked up the Bulldogs third point when she defeated Mara Presot 6-2, 6-3. 

Darinka Stepan picked up Drake's fifth point after defeating Sandra Lukacova 3-6, 6-2, 10-1. She was one of three Bulldogs who had their match go into a third set. 

Daria Walczak and Liza Petushkova picked up the the Bulldogs last two points, giving them the 7-0 sweep over the Bears. 

Drake will host the MVC Championship starting April 22. The bracket for the tournament is set to be released on Sunday April 17 and play will begin at 9am on Friday April 22.
