Drake University will serve as the host for the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 13-15 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
PARKING INFORMATION
Due to Drake University commencement ceremonies on Saturday (May 14) and Sunday (May 15), fans are encouraged to park in lots 29 and 33 on the west side of Drake Stadium during those two days. Diasbled parking will be available in lot 18N. To find where exactly those lots are located,

MEN'S TRACK & FIELD OUTDOOR SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
Drake has 15 marks that rank in the top 10 on the MVC leaderboards. Leading the way is the distance duo of
Adam Fogg and
Isaac Basten. Fogg broke his own school record for the MVC's fastest 1,500-meter time this year of 3:38.15 with Basten right behind him at 3:39.08. Freshman
Aziz Jdai owns the top Valley time in the 5,000 meters (14:08.20). Jdai recently set the 3,000-meter steeplechase mark to beat in the conference at the Drake Relays with a time of 8:50.34. The Bulldogs have four athletes that rank in the top-10 of the MVC men's hammer throw with
Anthony Barmes (209-9) setting the school record to pace the group.
Ethan Marshall (200-9) is second,
Joey Harkins (197-3) third and
Adam Phillips (189-0) seventh.
Will Tsai (183-6) rounds out the MVC top-5 in the men's javelin.
WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD OUTDOOR SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
Drake has 11 marks that rank in the top 10 on the MVC leaderboards. In the sprinting events,
Briandrias Rhodes ranks eighth in the conference in the 200-meter dash (24.60) and 400-meter dash (56.53).
Brooke Mullins owns a pair of top-10 times in the MVC so far including the seventh best 5,000 meter run at 16:39.81 and the third fastest 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:27.19), a school record and PR she set at the recent Drake Relays. Just like the indoor season,
Jaymie O'Connor displayed the fastest 100-meter hurdles time (13.73) in the conference.
Busiwa Asinga paces the MVC in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.57 while teammate
Madison Bunton ranks fourth at 1:03.20.
Katelyn Williams ranks fifth in the women's discus (152-7) and women's hammer throw (194-9).
DRAKE RELAYS HIGHLIGHTS
Brooke Mullins set a new women's program record in the steeplechase with a time of 10:27.19 on Thursday, April 28 while
Aziz Jdai moved to third all-time in Drake men's program history (8:50.34).
Basten delivered one of the most memorable performances by a Drake athlete on Jim Duncan Track to energize the faithful crowd Friday at Drake Stadium as part of the 112th Drake Relays on Friday, April 29.
Basten held off Moad Zahafi of Texas Tech in an eagerly anticipated 1,500 showdown, producing the first victory in the event by a Drake male athlete since 1981, edging the Moroccan challenger by a 3:39.11 to 3:39.59 margin. Zahafi entered the meet as the world leader in the 800 at 1:43.69, but Basten closed in 56.47 in comparison to the Texas Tech standout running the final 400 in 57.39. He moved into No. 19 in the nation with that run.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM MVC INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS (FEB. 27-28 IN CHICAGO)
Jaymie O'Connor won the first gold medal of the day after compiling 3,357 points in the women's pentathlon (60 hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800 meter run). That score ranks seventh in the Drake women's indoor track & field record book.
Brooke Mullins took second place in the women's 5000 meter run with a personal record of 16:37.03, which ranks second in the Drake women's indoor track & field record book.
Jack Zettl also turned in a PR (14:27.69) in the men's 5000 meter run for fifth place as well as fifth all-time in the Drake men's indoor track & field record book.
Joey Harkins also earned a silver medal in the men's weight throw with a top toss of 19.95 meters, which now ranks third in the Drake men's indoor track & field record book.
Ethan Marshall finished in fifth place with a weight throw of 18.97 meters.
Cloud Masibhera found a place on the podium in the long jump with a bronze medal after leaping 7.40 meters, which ranks seventh in the Drake men's indoor track & field record book.
Jaymie O'Connor won her second gold medal of the MVC Indoor Championships by recording a season-best time 8.50 in the 60 meter hurdles.
Adam Fogg destroyed the previous MVC Indoor Championships mile run record of 4:02.10 after finishing with a time of 3:56.89, which ranks third in the Drake men's indoor track & field record book. Emilie Mayer just missed the podium in the women's 800 meter run by coming in fourth place with a time of 2:11.12, which ranks seventh in the Drake women's indoor track & field record book.
Busiwa Asinga (55.25) and
Briandrias Rhodes (55.46) earned gold and silver in the women's 400 meter dash. Asinga's time is now third in the Drake women's indoor track & field record book while Rhodes is sixth.
Cloud Masibhera earned another bronze medal with a triple jump of 14.65 meters, which ranks ninth in the Drake men's indoor track & field record book.
The Drake men's track & field team finished fifth (54) and the women's squad finished seventh (62).
