STILLWATER, Okla. -- Drake women's golfer Kristen Giles fired a final round score of 74 on day three of the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Stillwater Regional on Wednesday, May 11 at Karsten Creek Golf Club.
 
The Missouri Valley Conference medalist bested her second round score by 10 strokes for a strong finish and a 54-hole tally of 248 (+32). She wrapped up the tournament with 22 pars (13 in round three) and five birdies (two in round three).  
 
Baylor won the Regional as a team by 14 strokes (865) as the Bears, Arizona State, host Oklahoma State and Auburn advanced. Fellow MVC member Illinois State shot a 966 as a team led by Avalon Woodward's 230.
 
Maddison Hinson-Tolchard of Oklahoma State took medalist honors with a 212 (-4).
 
The 2021-22 season has concluded for Giles and Drake women's golf.
