FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Drake University men's tennis team fell to TCU in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, 4-0, Friday evening in Texas.
TCU picked up the doubles point with wins on courts two and three, to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles action.
The Horned Frogs picked up their second point on court 5. Pedro Vives defeated Reid Jarvis, 6-3, 6-0.
Jeremy Schifris battled on court one against No. 12 Luc Fomba, but fell 4-6, 3-6.
TCU picked up its fourth and final point on court six. Markus Bolin fell to Tomas Jirousek, 1-6, 3-6.
The Bulldogs finish their season 14-8 overall, 4-1 in conference, and were the Summit League Tournament Champions.
