DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University men's tennis team ranked in sixth place in the final ITA Central Region ranking, released June 8.
 
In doubles action, the Bulldogs landed two duos in the top ten – Jeremy Schifris, Oliver Johansson at No. 7 and Evan Fragistas and Matija Matic in No. 9.
 
Schifris also earned a spot in the singles Central Region rankings. He earned the No. 6 ranking of 20 athletes.
 
The Bulldogs finished the season with a 13-11 overall record, 4-1 in Summit League play. Drake finished second in the regular season and won the Summit League Championship to claim an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament before taking on No. 1 TCU in the opening round.
