SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Drake men's tennis, the reigning Summit League Tournament champion, was selected to finish second in the 2023 Summit League preseason poll. The Bulldogs received two preseason votes, only one point behind Denver.
Jeremy Schifris was chosen as the team's preseason Athlete to Watch. He qualified for the Round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships after taking down the No. 1 rated player in the nation, Stefan Dostanic of USC. Schifris is ranked No. 34 in the latest ITA National Singles rankings.
