ST. LOUIS -- Drake women's soccer freshman forward Angela Gutierrez piled up her fifth Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week award, the league announced on Wednesday (Oct. 25). 

Gutierrez has scored a goal in three of the last four games after a first half goal in the 3-2 win at Belmont on Sunday to clinch the MVC regular season championship. Gutierrez provided an assist on the game-winning goal Thursday at Murray State.

Drake, the MVC regular season champion, is waiting to find out its opponent in the MVC Tournament semifinals hosted at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines on Nov. 2.
