Brooke Mullins will represent Drake at the NCAA National Championships in Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday, Nov. 18 in the women's 6k at 9:20 a.m. (CT).
Course Information
Panorama Farms is a privately owned farm of 850 acres located off Earlysville Road, approximately six miles from the Grounds of the University of Virginia. The property has nine miles of cut grass trails and 30 miles of wooded mountain bike trails. There are two different 5K courses, as well as a 6K, an 8K and a 10K course each with a common starting line and finish line. The courses are laid out entirely on rolling grass fields that are maintained year-round. The courses are exceptionally spectator friendly.
The home of the Virginia cross country teams, Panorama Farms was the site of the 2006 and 2007 ACC Cross Country Championships and the 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships.

Mullins finished seventh in the women's 6k with a time of 20:40.4 to become the first Drake women's cross country runner to qualify for the NCAA National Championships since Ashley
Anklam in 2005. Seventh place is also the best finish in an NCAA Regional by a Drake women's XC runner since
Anklam was sixth in 2005.
Mullins' Accomplishments
Brooke Mullins of Drake cross country was selected as the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Mullins won the 6k at the MVC women's Championships in 20:13.8, her personal best and a course record. She was the first Drake women's cross country runner to win at the MVC Championships since 2006.
