DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake volleyball (20-7, 13-2) concluded their home slate with a dominant sweep of Indiana State (3-22, 1-14) in the Knapp Center. The Bulldogs hit the 20-win mark for the season by overpowering the Sycamores in straight sets 25-14, 25-18, 25-10.
 
Indiana State scored the match's first point, but the Sycamores' lead did not last long as Drake quickly countered and got back in front. The Bulldogs maintained a slight advantage throughout much of the period. As Drake's lead grew, back-to-back Addison Beagle aces and a Taylor Oberpriller kill gave the Bulldogs a 25-14 win in the first.
 
Drake picked up where they left off to start the second frame, jumping out to a 5-0 lead. The Sycamores were able to fight back, eventually getting within two scores at 13-11 and 16-14.
 
Drake then buckled down to nip the visitors' rally and handled their business down the stretch earning a 25-18 set win to go up 2-0 in the match.
 
Indiana State took their turn to start the third set, leaping out to a 3-0 lead. The Bulldogs promptly matched with a 3-0 run of their own to knot the score. Drake took control from that point forward as they led 15-8 at the midway timeout and used a 10-0 run to extend the difference to 14 points.
 
The Bulldogs traded a couple late scores and eventually took the set 25-10 to earn the match win, 3-0.
 
As a team, Drake hit at an impressive .379 clip led by Taylor Oberpriller's 14 kills. Haley Bush followed with 13 and Macy Daufedlt posted 11 to go along with 11 digs for a double-double.
 
Bush and Addison Beagle each logged three service aces while the latter led Drake with 18 assists. Her setting-mate Madison Geise added 17 assists. Defensively, Kacie Rewerts and Jada Wills led all players with four blocks and 23 digs, respectively.
 
The Bulldogs will hit the road for their final three matches of the regular season starting with a visit to Valparaiso on Friday, Nov. 10.
