ST. LOUIS, Mo. – True freshman Jackson Kirsch was rewarded for his successful debut season in Des Moines with an inclusion on the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team.
 
Kirsch, a native of Marion, Iowa and one of the state's most decorated prep players of all time, had a solid 2023 campaign with eight total points on three goals and two assists.
 
He scored two of his three goals in the Bulldogs' first-ever game at Mediacom Stadium, a 2-0 victory over St. Thomas (10/10), one of which came in game-winning fashion.
 
Kirsch scored his other goal in Drake's season opener at Marquette (8/24) and logged an assist in a home defeat against Bradley (10/18).
