PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Lucas Scherf picked up where he left off in his record-setting last tournament as the Drake men's golf team competed at the GCU Invitational on Monday, March 13.
The Bulldogs (290-287-577) are currently ninth in the team standings while TCU (270-280-550) leads the field.
Scherf (71-69-140) and
Nikko Ganas (74-70-144) were both under par in the second round. Scherf is tied for 11
th overall while Ganas is tied for 30
th.
Jack Dumas (72-73-145) has been consistent over the first two rounds.
Nick Pittman (75-75-150) and
Silvester Tan (73-78-151) rounded out the Drake lineup on day one.
The final round of the GCU Invitational will commence on March 14.
