DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake women's tennis team dominated UIC 5-2 in the conference play opener on Saturday, Mar. 18. The Bulldogs were in control from the start to finish, securing their eighth victory of the season.
The Bulldogs won four out of their six singles matches, with three of their victories coming in straight sets.

Elizabete Klavinska and
Oriana Parkins-Godwin all impressed against UIC as they were the three Bulldogs to win in straight sets. Haagensen was the headliner for Drake as she won her sets 6-1, 6-2.
The Bulldogs continued their success in doubles, winning two out of three matches.

Drake's win snapped a two-game skid and improve their record to 8-6 overall and 1-0 in MVC play.
Next, the Bulldogs continue conference play with a match against Illinois State on Saturday, Mar. 25.
