How To Watch the 113th Drake Relays

Once again, the Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom will feature wall-to-wall coverage of the 113th edition of America's Athletic Classic, including a two-hour national broadcast on CBS Sports Network Saturday afternoon.

CBS Sports Network will be the world's window to the Blue Oval from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, with Brent Stover, Shannon Rowbury, Lewis Johnson and Brad Wells calling the action trackside. Those two hours will feature some of the marquee events, including the invitational hurdle events, the invitational 800m and 1,500m, the first-ever NCAA Paralympic 100m national championship, and the always thrilling university division 4x400-meter relays that often secure the prestigious Drake Relays cup. The broadcast will also feature recaps of early action at the Drake Relays.

"Having CBS Sports Network and its national audience is huge, not only for the Drake Relays, but our sport," said Blake Boldon, the Franklin P. Johnson Director of the Drake Relays. "While we're proud of regularly selling out Drake Stadium, CBS Sports Network and our partners at USATF.tv and Runnerspace.com allow us to reach our fans who can't make it to Drake Stadium and new audiences across the country."

While CBS Sports Network showcases two hours of action on Saturday, USATF.tv and Runnerspace.com will stream the other 28-plus hours of action from the Blue Oval, starting with heptathlon and decathlon action at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

RunnerSpace.com has been a broadcast partner of the Drake Relays since 2014, showing nearly every historic moment at the Blue Oval during those eight years, with more to be added in 2023.

The online broadcast continues Thursday at 10 a.m. with more multi-event action and continues with high school field events, the Distance Carnival, and an elite field in the men's and women's hammer throw.

Friday features a full day of action on USATF.tv/Runnerspace.com starting at 8 a.m. with nearly 14 hours of competition, including many of the preliminary events that will set the stage for nine hours of championship action Saturday.

All events from the 28 hours of the USATF.tv/RunnerSpace.com broadcast will also be available on-demand for fans to watch at their convenience or for those in attendance to re-experience the excitement away from the Blue Oval.
