ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sophomore setter Addison Beagle is the second Bulldog in as many weeks to earn the MVC Player of the Week award, the league announced this afternoon. Beagle has picked up where she left off after collecting the MVC Freshman of the Year award last season with a great to the 2023 campaign.
 
Her non-conference success was highlighted by Drake's most recent showing at the Cardinal & Gold Challenge in Ames, Iowa. Beagle dished out 139 total assists for an average of 12.64 assists per set. She also scored on a pair of kills and three service aces while logging 36 digs and a block. Beagle orchestrated the Bulldogs' clutch offense in their 3-2 win over Ohio in the tournament debut with a season-high 62 assists, just five assists short of her career best. Beagle was one of two Bulldogs to be named to the Cardinal & Gold Challenge All-Tournament team.
 
The star sophomore leads The Valley in assists by a wide margin with 511 assists and an 11.36 assists per set average.
