ST. LOUIS – With the announcement of the Missouri Valley Conference schedule on Friday (Sept. 22), the 2023-24 Drake men's basketball schedule is now complete.
The MVC portion of the schedule will begin on Nov.29 at Valparaiso before The Valley home opener on Dec. 2 against Missouri State.
MVC play resumes on Jan. 2 with the Bulldogs playing host to Illinois State. A jaunt to Nashville to face Belmont is set for Jan. 7.
Indiana State is set to visit the Knapp Center on Jan. 10 followed by a road trip at Southern Illinois (Jan. 13) and Illinois State (Jan. 17). Evansville travels to Des Moines on Jan. 20 followed by an away test against Missouri State on Jan. 24.
The rivalry with UNI will not commence until Jan. 27 inside the Knapp Center followed by welcoming the Beacons of Valpo to town on Jan. 31. The Bulldogs swing over to Terre Haute on Feb. 3 before the Salukis come to the Drake campus for a midweek tilt on Feb. 7. A short turnaround road trip awaits Drake Feb. 10-13 at Bradley and Evansville respectively.
Murray State races to Iowa's capital city on Feb. 18 while Belmont gets another look at the Knapp Center on Feb. 21. Drake's final road trip of the regular season is to UNI (Feb. 24) and UIC (Feb. 28). The regular season finale will once again be against Bradley, but this time the Bulldogs will host on March 3.
The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will take place from March 7-10 in St. Louis, Mo., at the Enterprise Center.
