DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake Men's basketball finalized its non-conference portion of its 2024-25 slate, the team announced this afternoon. The new look Bulldogs will look forward to a challenge with a schedule filled with high quality competition.
 
Drake will begin its regular season campaign at the Knapp Center playing host to York University on Nov. 4.
 
The Bulldogs then welcome Stephen F. Austin and Florida Gulf Coast to Des Moines the following week on Nov. 10 and Nov. 16, respectively.
 
A week before the Thanksgiving holiday, Drake will travel to Charleston, South Carolina to participate in the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic. The Bulldogs will open the tournament against Miami (FL) on Nov. 21 and play two other contests on Nov. 22 and Nov. 24. The entire eight-team field consists of Drake, Florida Atlantic, Miami (FL), Nevada, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt, and VCU.
 
To close out the month of November, the Bulldogs return home for a matchup with Georgia Southern on Nov. 30.
 
In December, Drake will have three non-conference tilts with home games versus Saint Ambrose on Dec. 12 and Green Bay on Dec. 21. In between the games with Saint Ambrose and Green Bay, the Bulldogs will take on Big 12 foe Kansas State as part of the Wildcat Classic held at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
 
The Bulldogs also announced that their first MVC game of the year on the road at Valparaiso has been moved from Dec. 4 to Dec. 5.
