The Drake women's volleyball team is set to host the Indiana State Sycamores and Evansville Aces on back-to-back nights this weekend, Oct. 25-26. The Bulldogs look to remain undefeated in the Knapp Center and pick up two more conference wins.

The Bulldogs sit at a 12-8 overall record and an 8-1 conference record coming into the weekend. Drake bounced back from its lone MVC loss to UNI with a pair of road wins against Bradley and Illinois State last weekend. Earlier this week, libero
Jada Wills was named the conference Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. Wills earned the accolade after setting her career-high with 45 digs against the Braves. Her 45-dig performance also tied the single-match mark in program history. Wills is also nearing the all-time digs record as she is just 49 digs away from tying Kylee Macke's record of 2,535.

Scouting Indiana State
The Indiana State Sycamores travel to Des Moines posting a 4-17 overall record to go along with a 1-8 conference record. Indiana State also has gone 1-8 in away games this season. The Sycamores earned their first MVC win of the season with a sweep against Evansville on Monday, which put an end to Indiana State's 13-match losing streak.
Drake leads the all-time series with Indiana State at a mark of 41-29. The Bulldogs have won three-straight, all of which have been in straight sets, over the Sycamores with their last loss coming in 2021. In the previous 10 contests between Drake and Indiana State, the Bulldogs have gone 7-3.

Scouting Evansville
The Aces own a similar record to the Sycamores at 4-17 overall but have yet to win a road contest this season at 0-7. Evansville is 3-6 in MVC play and fell to Indiana State in its most recent match on Monday. Prior to Monday night, the Aces were on a two-game win streak defeating Southern Illinois and Missouri State last weekend. Evansville heads to Cedar Falls, Iowa to take on UNI before traveling to Des Moines.
The all-time series between Drake and Evansville, dating back to 1992, sees the Bulldogs with the advantage, 36-26. Drake has taken the last three games against the Aces and in the last ten the Bulldogs have gone 7-3.

The Bulldogs will be back on the road take on Belmont on Nov. 1 in Nashville, Tennessee followed by a contest against Murray State in Murray, Kentucky on Nov. 2.
