The Basics
The Drake volleyball team begins the month of November with a pair of road contests against Belmont on Nov. 1 followed by a Murray State game Nov. 2.

Drake is currently second overall in Missouri Valley standings with a 10-1 record and sits just behind UNI who has an 11-0 record. The team is 14-8 overall, riding a four-game win streak and owns a 6-3 away record. The Bulldogs already matched up with both Belmont and Murray State this season winning both contests. Jada Wills was named the MVC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. Wills' recent weekly award honor comes on the heels of recently becoming Drake's all-time career digs leader.

Scouting Belmont
Belmont is 8-15 overall with a 3-8 conference record and a 4-3 home record. After starting the conference slate 2-2, the Bruins have faced some recent struggles having dropped six of their last seven matches.
Drake has been dominate in its brief history with Belmont winning all three matchups. The Bulldogs have yet to drop a set against the Bruins and came away with the win in the previous contest earlier this season in Des Moines.

Scouting Murray State
Murray State heads into the weekend with a 12-8 record overall and a 7-4 conference record, which puts it fourth in the MVC standings. The Racers are 4-1 at home and are riding a three-match win streak after taking down Missouri State, Southern Illinois, and UIC. Before taking on the Bulldogs, Murray State will host UNI on Nov. 1.
Similar to the series history with Belmont, Drake is undefeated in the all-time series with Murray State owning a 4-0 record against the Racers. The Bulldogs battled with Murray State in Des Moines in their most recent matchup on Oct. 11 and claimed a hard-fought win, 3-2.
