Drake men's tennis players Ben Johnson and Christian Winstead were selected to represent Drake and the Summit League in the 2024 ITA Conference Masters Championships in Rome, Georgia, spanning from Thursday, November 7 to Sunday, November 10.

The duo of Johnson/Winstead will battle Western Michigan's team of Jack Davison and Brogan Pierce in the first round of bracket play. The winner of that match will advance to face Davis Wiley/Cole Brashear of Richmond or Joseph Wayand/Alex Degabriele of UNC Wilmington. 
 
Johnson and Winstead have a chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships this week— the top three doubles teams advance. There are 32 teams in the bracket that Drake's duo is competing in.
