ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Three members of the Drake volleyball team were placed on Missouri Valley Conference All-Scholar teams, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. Co-Player of the Year, Macy Daufeldt, and Co-Libero of the Year, Jada Wills, garnered selections to the First Team and Addison Beagle was tabbed to the Second Team.
 
Daufeldt was a four-time MVC Player of the Week honoree this season and led Drake with 484 kills. The junior tallied an average of 4.36 kills per set, which ranked as the second-best mark in the league. She recorded the third-highest mark in the league this season for kills in a match with 32 vs. Valpo on Nov. 8 and posted 34 service aces, which tied for 10th in the league. Defensively, Daufeldt ranked second on Drake with 337 digs and compiled 68 total blocks, the third-best mark on the squad. Over the course of the season the West Liberty, Iowa native recorded 20 double-double performances in 30 matches. Daufeldt owns a GPA of 3.87 majoring in Management & Organizational Leadership.
 
Wills added plenty of accolades to her already decorated career as she was named MVC Defensive Player of the Week six times this season. She became Drake volleyball's career digs record holder at 2,762 while leading the Bulldogs, the MVC, and the nation with 768 digs this season. Wills also led Drake, the MVC, and the nation with an average of 6.92 digs per set. The Dubuque, Iowa native tallied seven of the top-10 marks for digs in a match in the league including the top spot with 45 digs against Bradley on Oct. 18. Her 768 digs are the most in a single season in Drake volleyball history. She also ranked third on Drake with 113 assists. Wills carries a 3.96 GPA in her masters Business Administration program.
 
Beagle once again displayed why she is one of the top players in the league during her junior campaign. She ranks second all-time at Drake with 3,570 assists and totaled 891 assists on the season, good for an average of 8.03 assists per set. Beagle also racked up 23 service aces, which ranked third on the Bulldogs. On the defensive side, the Liberty, Missouri native compiled 253 digs. Beagle carries a GPA of 3.80 and is studying Marketing & Law, Politics and Society.
