School Records/Track Athlete of the Week
Three school records were broken last weekend.
At the Tyson Invitational in Arkansas, Emilie Meyer broke Gina DeWitt's record with her 800m time of 2:08.19. The previous record (2:09.24) by DeWitt was set back in 1995.
Centaine Noom-Duckworth bettered her own program record in the Tyson Invitational women's weight throw with a toss of 19.26m/63-2 ¼.
Almost exactly a year after setting the Drake school record in the men's mile at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, Isaac Basten returned to Boston and broke that mark with mile time of 3:53.54 to finish eighth overall (second amongst collegiate competitors).
Isaac Basten has been named MVC Track Athlete of the Week the past two weeks (Feb. 8 and Feb. 15).

The MVC Indoor Championships await the Bulldogs Feb. 25-26 at Gately Park in Chicago, Ill.
