Des Moines, IA - The Bulldogs fell short against Denver in the Summit League Championship game, losing 4-0 and ending their season. The Bulldogs finished the season with an 11-9 record after the loss to the 23-0 Denver Pioneers.

Oliver Johansson and
Matija Matic dominated Nicolas Herrero Cuesta and Rikuto Yamaguchi 6-0 in the first doubles spot to spark energy in the Roger Knapp Tennis Center. The Pioneers, however, battled back to win the final two doubles matches.
Jeremy Schifris and
Olle Sonesson Lidholt had a 4-3 advantage over Raffaello Papajcik and Anish Sriniketh but fell 6-4 in the end.
Matt Clegg and
Markus Bolin couldn't pull momentum to their side and lost 6-3 to Marvin Schaber and Daniel Sancho Arbizu, letting the doubles point slip to Denver.
Denver's Charlie Miller secured the Pioneers' first singles victory, winning 6-3, 6-2 over Clegg. Minutes after Clegg's defeat Sriniketh took down Bolin in the fourth singles spot 6-4, 6-2 to put Drake down 3-0 and on its heels. The Bulldogs fought to stay alive, but Schaber ultimately downed Matic 6-4, 6-3 to win the Summit League Championship for Denver. Sonesson Lidholt won his first set 6-4 and was winning his second set 5-4, but his match was abandoned when Denver reached their fourth point. Johansson lost his first set but had a 5-2 second set lead over Herrero Cuesta, and Schifris lost his first set and was knotted up 5-5 in the second set; both matches were abandoned.
