DES MOINES, Iowa – Registration is officially open for one of Iowa's most storied running traditions — the Drake Road Races. Set for Saturday, April 18, 2026, the 58th annual event kicks off Relays Week at Drake University and offers runners of all levels the rare opportunity to finish their race on the iconic Blue Oval inside Drake Stadium.
To celebrate the start of registration, runners can take advantage of a two-day flash sale with the lowest prices of the season — up to 50% off race weekend prices. The flash sale runs Monday, October 20 through Tuesday, October 21 at midnight.
