Volleyball Preview: Indiana State & Illinois State

Bulldogs look to stay hot against Sycamores and Redbirds from the Knapp Center

The Basics
The Drake volleyball team is back in Des Moines with a pair of matches this weekend taking on Indiana State on Friday, Oct. 24, and Illinois State on Saturday, Oct. 25, from the Knapp Center

Bulldogs by the Numbers
Drake looks to keep its perfect month of October rolling along as the Bulldogs are undefeated in the month. The Bulldogs have rattled off five consecutive wins to vault themselves into fourth place in the Missouri Valley Conference Standings. Overall, Drake posts a record of 9-10 but is 5-3 in league play. The Bulldogs have a dynamic duo of setters this season in Addison Beagle and Katie Quick. Both players have eclipsed 300 assists for the season to lead the Bulldogs in that category. Quick, a freshman and local product from Ankeny, Iowa, leads Drake with 317 assists. Beagle, a senior, is not far behind with 309 assists this season and ranks second in program history with 3,880 assists in her career.
