DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake women's tennis has finalized its schedule of matches for the upcoming 2026 spring season, the team announced today.
 
The women of Drake tennis are set for another challenging and promising season in Des Moines. The Bulldogs will get their spring slate underway on Jan. 24 with a home tilt against North Dakota before visiting Lindenwood on Jan. 31.
 
February gets busy for the Bulldogs with six total matches over the 28-day month. Drake will host Creighton (Feb. 6) and Kansas City (Feb. 8) to get the stanza started. A trip to the Twin Cities from Feb. 14-15 is next including matches against Minnesota and St. Thomas. Drake will then close the month with the first two tilts of a 5-match homestand when Saint Louis (Feb. 20) and Chicago State (Feb. 22) visit the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
 
The familiar stretch will continue with bouts against SIUE (Mar. 6), Omaha (Mar. 8), and South Dakota (Mar. 14).
 
March is set to continue with a spring break trip, destination to be determined.
 
The Bulldogs will return to the Midwest to begin Missouri Valley Conference action, starting with a pair of road matches at Murray State (Mar. 28) and Belmont (Mar. 29).
 
Drake will then visit rival UNI on Apr. 4 to commence the final month of the season. Two more home matches are on deck with Illinois State (Apr. 10) and Bradley (Apr. 11) slated for a trip to Des Moines. Drake's regular season will conclude with two more road trips to Valpo (Apr. 18) and UIC (Apr. 19).
 
The 2026 MVC Women's Tennis Championship will be held from Apr. 24-26.
