DES MOINES, Iowa – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District selections on Tuesday with four members of the Drake Volleyball team earning recognition. Addison Beagle, Bliss Beck, Macy Daufeldt, and Aniyah Davis were all named to the team.
 
Beagle adds the honor to her distinguished Drake career. This season she played in 29 matches and made 26 starts in her final season in Des Moines leading the Bulldogs from her setter position totaling 575 assists on the year. Beagle also registered a team-high 22 service aces. Beagle finishes her career second all-time in assists for Drake with 4,146 assists.
 
Beck, a sophomore, tallied 123 total blocks this season bringing a firm defensive presence to the net, and tied for the most blocks in the Missouri Valley Conference. She also was one of the most efficient hitters in the league with a hitting percentage of .353, the fifth best mark in the conference.
 
Daufeldt earns another recognition to wrap up her collegiate career following a First Team All-Conference selection. Daufeldt surpassed 4,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs in her senior campaign and led Drake in both those categories tallying 401 kills and 377 digs. The West Liberty, Iowa, native ranks fourth all-time in Drake history in kills (1,382) and ninth in digs (1,138).
 
Davis had a career-best season in her final year compiling 110 total blocks for the Bulldogs on the defensive end. Offensively, she tallied 112 kills and hit at a clip of .266 from her middle blocker position.
 
All-District honorees hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater and have competed in 90 percent of matches or have started in at least 66 percent of total matches. Freshmen are not eligible.
