KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eve Blakey and Madelyn Smith of Drake women's soccer were tabbed as United Soccer Coaches All-Region players, the organization announced. Smith was named to the All-Midwest Region Third Team, while Blakey was placed on the All-Midwest Region Fourth Team.
 
A key cog in the midfield for the Bulldogs, Smith provided a pair of goals and four assists in 2025 while starting every match logging 1,443 minutes. The St. Louis, Missouri, native was the undoubted leader on the pitch for the Bulldogs in her senior season directing traffic and controlling the pace of the action.
 
Blakey solidified herself as one of the premier goal scorers in the Missouri Valley Conference tallying eight scores on the year to go along with three assists. She led the Bulldogs in points, goals scored, shots, and shots on goal with four game-winners to her credit.
