DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University volleyball program is rolling along with their slate of spring exhibition matches, head coach
Darrin McBroom announced today. The Bulldogs are set for a handful of matchups against regional opponents.
The Bulldogs began their spring slate a couple weeks ago with a scrimmage in Ames, Iowa against the Iowa State Cyclones. The exhibition was a nice showing for Drake with the team taking three of the four sets against the Cyclones.
Drake's next competition will take place on Saturday, March 29th for the TVA Collegiate Challenge from Omaha, Nebraska. While at the TVA Collegiate Challenge, the Bulldogs will partake in three scrimmages against South Dakota State (10:45 am), Omaha (12:00 pm), and Creighton (2:30 pm).
The Bulldogs' spring schedule will wrap up on Saturday, April 5 at UNI's spring tournament. Drake is set to visit Cedar Falls where they will square off against St. Thomas, North Dakota, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Western Illinois.
