Denver, Colorado — The Bulldogs dropped their final regular season match to the Denver Pioneers 7-0. The loss gives Drake a 7-11 record heading into the Summit League Championship next weekend. Denver improved to 15-6 and 4-0 in the conference.

The Pioneers got off to a hot start in doubles after Connor Robb-Wilcox and Rikuto Yamaguchi defeated Ben Johnson and Will Ecklund 6-1 and Theo Coats and Daniel Sancho Arbizu took down Aaron Dawson and Adan Tarquino 6-3. Jose Alessandro Hernandez and Logan Tomovski were tied with Ryoma Mishiro and Raffaello Papajcik 5-5 on the final doubles court, but their match was abandoned after the first two finished. Denver then defeated the Bulldogs in every singles match.
