DES MOINES, Iowa – Senior long snapper
Brett Welsing has been named to the 2025 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team, the organization announced this morning.
Welsing, a native of De Pere, Wisconsin, has been a key piece of the Bulldogs' elite special teams unit over the last few seasons with snapping duties on both the punting and placekicking units. His All-America nod lands him on the Preseason Second Team prior to the start of the 2025 campaign.
Welsing earned First Team All-Pioneer Football League and Second Team PFL All-Academic honors last season after being named to the All-Pioneer Football League Second Team as a sophomore.
