The Basics
Drake women's tennis is set to hit the road for its first match away from home this spring. The Bulldogs will clash with Lindenwood in the Show-Me State at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31.
Bulldog Breakdown
Drake began its spring slate with a pair of narrow losses as both North Dakota and Southeast Missouri State visited Des Moines and left with 4-3 results.
Newcomers
Maja Dodik and
Kristina Tai teamed up for a doubles win and both won their respective singles bouts in Drake's battle with SEMO.
Jana Ruzic and
Jordane Dookie did the same a day prior against the Fighting Hawks.
Scouting Lindenwood
Lindenwood's 2026 spring season will begin this weekend as the Lions have two matches versus teams from the state of Iowa. Lindenwood will host Northern Iowa on Jan. 30 before the Bulldogs visit St. Charles on Jan. 31.
The Lions are coming off a 2025 campaign in which they went 5-10 overall and 2-3 in Ohio Valley Conference play. The Lions dropped their last three matches of the 2025 season including an OVC Tournament defeat to SIUE. Their most recent win came on Apr. 12 of last year at Southern Indiana.
Saturday will be the first ever meeting between Drake and Lindenwood.
