The Basics
The Drake women's golf team heads to the Southwest region of the country for its penultimate tournament of the 2026 Fall season, the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State. The event will be played from the New Mexico State Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico from Oct. 12-14. Teams will play three rounds 18-holes each day.

About the Course
The NMSU Golf Course is a championship 18-hole course that is open to the public year-round. Highlighted by beautiful scenery, the 18-hole layout is framed by the majestic Organ Mountains to the east and the picturesque Mesilla Valley to the west. Some of the major events that have been held at the course include: the 1968 NCAA Men's Championship, 1988 NCAA Women's Golf Championships, the 1990 NCAA Men's West Regional Golf Tournament, the 1971 AIAW National Championship, two Missouri Valley Conference Championships, and two Big West Championships. The course measures in at 5,858 yards and will play as a Par 74.
