ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake's Maja Dodik was awarded with her second Missouri Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week honor, the league announced today.
 
Dodik put together another unbeaten weekend with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Saint Louis' Emmerson White following a 3-set triumph over Chicago State's Karolina Skowronska. Both of Dodik's wins came in the No. 1 position. She also added a pair of doubles wins as Drake shut out both of its opponents this weekend.
 
Dodik and the Bulldogs will be back in action on Mar. 6 and 7 with home matches against SIUE and Omaha, respectively.
