LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Drake volleyball program was honored with the Team Academic Award, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced on Thursday afternoon.

To qualify, programs must have achieved a minimum team cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale) during the entirety of the 2025-26 academic year. Drake is one of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams that earned the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award.

The Bulldogs were one of nine teams in the Missouri Valley Conference to receive the recognition. The recipients of the award from the MVC can be found below.
