The Basics
Drake men's soccer will be back on the field this week with two home games against non-conference opponents to kick off September. The Bulldogs will host Milwaukee on Sep. 2 (7:30 p.m.) before welcoming Kansas City on Sep. 7 (7 p.m.).

Drake trails Milwaukee 3-5-2 in the two teams' all-time series. The Panthers have won three of the last four matches with a 2022 draw mixed in. Drake is seeking its first win over Milwaukee since 2016.

Scouting Kansas City
The 23rd-ranked Roos of Kansas City enter the week at 2-1 overall and listed in the top 25 of the NCAA Men's Soccer RPI. Kansas City opened the year with shutout wins over SIUE and UNLV before suffering a home loss to San Francisco. The Roos will visit national No. 3 SMU on Friday before their Labor Day bout in Des Moines.
Kansas City is led by seventh year head coach Ryan Pore, who has led the Roos to a 47-38-25 record during his tenure.
Drake leads KC 18-6-3 in their all-time series. The two squads tied in last year's meeting after Drake ripped of 12 wins in the previous 13 matchups. The Bulldogs are looking to build upon their 11-1-1 home record against Kansas City.
