Senior Year (2019): All-MVC First Team selection ... MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team ... MVC Player of the Week on April 15 ... blasted career-high eight home runs and 15 doubles with career-best 43 runs batted in ... doubles total tied with teammate Mandi Roemmich for team lead ... that week, blistered the softball in five wins, which included three run-rule victories ... batted an impressive .727 (8-for-11) with one home run, three doubles, five runs and 11 RBI while compiling a .750 on-base percentage and a 1.273 slugging percentage. ... went 3-for-4 with three RBI on a double and one home run against South Dakota State on Feb. 9 ... hit a three-run home run against Nebraska in game one of doubleheader on March 26 ... graduated tied for all-time career total in doubles with 42 ... second all-time in career walks behind teammate Kennedy Frank with 113 ... second all-time in career RBI with 120.

Junior Year (2018): All-MVC First Team selection ... MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team ... played in 55 games with 55 starts ... selected MVC Player of the Week for the first time on April 2 ... named MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week (April 4) ... Pena earned the MVC weekly honors after she batted a team-high .545 (6-of-11) in the four wins where she had one stolen base, two doubles, two runs and six RBI while compiling a .667 on-base percentage and slugging .727 ... smacked first career triple in first win over BYU on May 17 in the NCAA Regional ... hit two-run home run against UNI on April 24 ... hit a home run in the 4-0 victory over South Alabama on Feb. 18.

Sophomore Year (2017): Started 54 of 55 games ... batted .182 with one home run, six doubles, 12 runs scored, 14 runs batted in.

Freshman Year (2016): Named to the All-MVC Second Team ... started all 54 games ... second on the team in batting average at .333 ... led team in walks with 33 and on-base percentage at .457 ... finished with four home runs, 11 doubles, 34 runs batted in, 35 runs scored and 51 hits ... named MVC Newcomer of the Week on May 9.

High School: Versatile three-sport athlete for Columbia High School ... played basketball, softball and volleyball ...  earned varsity letters in all three sports all four years .... earned all-state, all-conference and all-metro honors as a senior in softball .... as a junior  helped the  Eagles softball team capture conference, sectional and regional championships to earn a berth to the Illinois Class 3A Elite 8.

Personal: Born Feb., 1997 ... daughter of Vance and Sonya Pena ... has one sister, Chelsey ... father played football at Central Missouri ... majoring in elementary education ... chose Drake for the coaches and the campus.
