2022 Cross Country: Ran a 6K time of 20:24.8 in the season opener at the Oz Memorial on Sept. 2… Broke the 25-minute barrier for his 8K PR (24:43.7) at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 14… Notched a 10K personal best at the NCAA Midwest Regionals with a time of 31:44.3.
2022 Outdoor: Set his 1500m PR of 3:59.57 at the John McDonnell Invitational on April 7… Secured his 800m PR (1:53.22) at the MVC Outdoor Championships.
2022 Indoor: Recorded PRs in the 3000m (8:46.00) at the Iowa State Holiday Invitational on Dec. 11 and the mile (4:22.21) at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Feb. 4…. Helped Drake to a fourth place finish in the distance medley relay at the MVC Indoor Championships.
2021 Cross Country: Ran a season-best 8K of 25:09.4 at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 15… Competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional and turned in a time of 33:19.4.
Prior to Drake: Transferred to Drake from Iowa Central Community College… Ran for the University of Sunshine Coast Athletics Club.
Personal: UN Refugee Agency Goodwill Ambassador… Member of IOC Refugee Olympic Team during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics… His family fled from South Sudan in 2005 and arrived at Kakuma Refugee Camp in 2005.
