Biography

2016: Completed an 18-yard touchdown pass against Stetson

2015: Totaled 13 yards in the win against Jacksonville ... had an 11 yard completion against Valparaiso ... totaled 25 yards and one touchdown against Stetson.

2014:  Did not see any action.

2013: Redshirted.

Prep: Was a team captain and first team All-North Suburban Conference selection that led his team to the 6A state semifinals and a 9-3 record as a senior … passed for more than 2,800 yards with 22 touchdown passes as a senior … also named first team all-county, second team all-area, honorable mention all-state and was the team’s offensive MVP… threw for 500 yards with eight touchdowns as a junior as his team won a conference title … was a standout lacrosse player as well that led his team to the state quarterfinals as a senior and the state title game as a junior.

Personal: Intends to major in business … is the son of Michael and Paige Clifford … his parents both graduated from the University of Chicago where his father played football and basketball while his mother was on the volleyball and softball teams … has an older brother, Tim, and a younger brother, Matthew ... named to the 2013 PFL Honor Roll.
