Noah Evangelides joined the Drake football coaching staff as the assistant offensive line coach and special teams assistant in July, 2021 ahead of the 2021 season.
Prior to Drake, he spent five seasons at Northwestern University in multiple roles, including stints with the video team and both offensive and defensive rooms during his undergraduate tenure.
In his first two years at Northwestern, Evangelides served as a videographer to gain knowledge about the program and build relationships with the coaching staff. During this time, he was a part of two bowl championship teams (2016 Pinstripe Bowl, 2017 Music City Bowl).
During the 2018 season, Evangelides gained responsibilities with the coaching staff and assisted with gameday communication, as well as small breakdown responsibilities. He joined a veteran defensive backs room led by associate head coach Matt MacPherson. Evangelides helped coach future NFL players, Montre Hartage, JR Pace, and future first-round draft pick, Greg Newsome II. Northwestern won the 2019 Big Ten West Division and won the 2018 Holiday Bowl.
For his final two seasons at Northwestern University, Evangelides served as a full-time offensive assistant working with the offensive line. He learned under the tutelage of Kurt Anderson, a coach with NFL experience, and worked with another first-round pick, Rashawn Slater. Northwestern won the Big Ten West Division again in 2020. That year, the team scored 16 rushing touchdowns and averaged 162.8 rushing yards per game during the shortened COVID season. The squad finished with a Citrus Bowl Championship, and true freshman left tackle, Peter Skoronski, was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and Freshman All-American.
Evangelides, who is from Chicago, graduated with his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. He attended Saint Ignatius College Prep and started his coaching career as a student coach after a medical disqualification.
