2024: Named an All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention…earned a PFL Offensive Player of the Week award…named to Academic All-PFL Second Team and PFL Academic Honor Roll...played in all 11 games in his final 11 games as a Bulldog…led Drake in rushing with 441 yards on 69 carries…scored six touchdowns on the ground including a season-long 91-yard scamper in the regular season finale at Stetson…caught 12 passes for 71 yards

2023: Made 7 appearances…rushed for 32 yards on 15 attempts…recorded 1 rushing touchdown.

2022: 38 carries for 130 rushing yards… Scored two rushing touchdowns… averaged 3.4 yards per carry… caught four passes for 20 receiving yards… returned 31 kickoffs… averaged 22.26 yards per return… had a long kickoff return of 58 yards.

Fall 2021: Appeared in four games…rushed seven times…gained 22 yards on the ground…returned two kickoffs…had a season-long return of 21 yards.

Prior to Drake: Multi-sport athlete in football and track and field for South Elgin High School ... named all-conference and all-area his junior year of football after he rushed for 700 yards (14 yards per carry) and seven rushing touchdowns ... added 100 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown ... multiple time state qualifier in track and field ... earned numerous academic all-conference and all-state honors.

Personal: Son of Jim Cherwin and Kim O'Reilly-Cherwin ... has five older siblings ... plans on majoring in biology and engineering ... chose Drake for football program and the quality of education offered.
