2018: Named to the All-PFL First Team ... garnered first team Academic All-PFL honors ... led team with 67 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss ... had eight total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and one interception at Jacksonville to earn PFL Player of the Week honors for Sept. 30 ... was named PFL Special Teams Player of the Week Nov. 18 after returning a blocked extra point for the two-point conversion ... 10 total tackles against Butler.

2017: Named All-PFL honorable mention ... started all 11 games ... ranked second on the team with 66 tackles with 6.5 tackles fo ra loss and 1.5 sacks ... put up 11 tackles, including a half-sack against Campbell ... recorded a career-high 12 tackles at San Diego ... totaled nine tackles and a sack against Davidson ... had five tackles at Marist. 

2016: Saw significant playing time on special teams and as a reserve linebacker ... recorded nine tackles ... registered two solo tackles against Stetson ... had a solo tackle against Butler ... recorded two tackles against Jacksonville.

2015: Saw action in nine games ... had one tackle against Stetson ... made a solo tackle in the season opener against William Jewel. 

2014:  Redshirted. 

Prep: Led the team in interceptions and was second in tackles as a senior … was an all-conference honorable mention selection … was voted by his teammates as the hardest worker in the weight room and most likely to succeed … led the team in sacks as a junior and was an all-conference honorable mention selection … was a honor roll student and the Hy-Vee Scholar Athlete of the month in September, 2013 … also a National Honor Society member.

Personal: Is the son of Dan and Kathy Severa … sister Kendyll plays volleyball at St. Edwards while Kaela plays soccer at Rockhurst … intends to study health sciences at Drake.
