2016: Saw significant playing time in all 11 games and started three of them ... recorded 10 tackles ... had one tackle against Butler ... registered two tackles against Dayton ... made three tackles against South Dakota State ... recorded one tackle against Quincy.

2015: Saw action in five games ... recorded two solo sacks ... had one sack against Stetson for a loss of seven yards.

Prep: Had 56 tackles and five sacks as a senior while serving as team captain … was also named all-conference, all-city and a Blue-Gray Game All-American … was also an all-state lacrosse player and finished second in the state power lifting championships … helped the team to three-straight lacrosse state championships … as a junior, he was a NSCA All-American athlete.

Personal: Son of Paul and Christine Read … intends to study health sciences at Drake.
