High School: Played quarterback for two seasons for Centennial High School ... helped lead Centennial to the Arizona Class 5A Championship his senior season ... passed for 19 touchdowns and ran for two his senior year ... team finished as state runner-up his junior season ... two-time all-state and all-conference honoree ... helped guide team to 26-3 record his two seasons under center ... played cornerback as a sophomore when team also won state title.
