Prep: As a senior he recorded 71 tackles, 15 for a loss, 7.5 sacks, 17 quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles … also recovered three fumbles, one for a touchdown … was a first team all-state, all-region, all-suburban and all-conference selection … as a junior, the team reached the state finals for the first time thanks to his 97 tackles, six of the them for a loss … was named first team all-conference as a junior and honorable mention all-suburban … was honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore with 98 tackles in nine games and three tackles for loss … was high school teammates with current Drake football players Jack Beck and Grant Menard.

Personal: Is the son of Dan and Joel’ Terveer … intends to study business at Drake.
