2005-06 — Made immediate impact as junior college transfer by being named to five-man Missouri Valley Conference All-Newcomer Team...despite being one of smallest players in MVC he was the only player in the league to rank among the top 10 in the following four categories: assists (second), steals (fourth), assist-turnover ratio (eighth) and field-goal percentage (10th)...tied MVC single-game record with nine steals at Illinois State...almost became first player in history of MVC Tournament to record a triple-double when he collected 10 points, a career-high 10 assists along with seven rebounds in first-round game against Indiana State...his 144 assists (4.65 avg) ranked third on school single-season list and were most by a Drake player since Stephfon Butler had 147 in 1984-85...tied with Matt Woodley (1997-98) for seventh on school single-season steals chart with 61 (1.97 avg.)...scored in double figures in 15 games, while leading team in scoring eight times...also led team in assists in 24 games...had career-high 20 points vs. North Dakota State...had 14 points and career-high eight rebounds in victory past Bradley, while scoring seven of team's last nine points including layup over 7-foot NBA lottery choice Patrick O'Bryant...named MVC Player of Week Dec. 27 after averaging 8.0 points, 8.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in games against Southern Utah and then No. 25 ranked Iowa...dished out nine assists at Iowa and had 12 points, four rebounds and seven assists vs. Southern Utah...also named to Drake Regency Challenge All-Tournament team after averaging 16.5 points and 4.0 assists, while shooting 63.6 percent from floor...collected eight assists in college debut vs. Detroit...collected 13 points, six assists in victory at Indiana State...had team-high 15 points at Wichita State, along with a game-high seven assists and four steals...tallied team-high 14 points with five assists, five rebounds and two steals in home game vs. Northern Iowa.
