Prior to Drake: Four-year letter winner at Loyola University-Chicago (2019-23)...played in 99 career games for the Ramblers...averaged 7.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while leading the team in made three-point shots as a senior...posted a career-high 19 points vs. Elon (12/20/23), dished out a career-high five assists vs. St. Bonaventure (2/11/23), and made a career-high five three-point baskets on two separate occasions...started every game and was a team captain as a senior.

High School: Starred at two different high schools during prep career...attended Spirit Lake High School in northwest Iowa (2015-17) and completed prep career at Waukee High School (2017-19)...Led Indians in scoring as a freshman and sophomore at Spirit Lake while being named to First-Team All-Lakes Conference twice, First-Team All-District twice, First-Team All-Region, and Third-Team All-State...set Spirit Lake girls basketball record for most three-pointers made in a single season with 63...took talents to Waukee where she teamed up with current Drake teammate and former Warrior Katie Dinnebier...member of two CIML division runner-up and Iowa State Tournament qualifying teams at Waukee...Awarded First-Team All-CIML Central Division and Second-Team Elite All-CIML twice...also earned First-Team All-District, First-Team All-Region, and Second-Team All-State honors as a junior and senior...led Class 5A with 78 made three-pointers and led the Warriors in scoring as a junior...set and tied her own record for most made triples in a single game with eight...eclipsed the Waukee girls basketball program record for most three-point shots made in a season with 78.

Personal: Born August, 2000...daughter of John and Joleen Brown...both parents were collegiate athletes at Division III Buena Vista University as father played football and wrestled (1979-83) and mother played basketball (1980-84)...has five siblings, all of whom were also collegiate athletes...sisters include Katie (Brown) Wynn, a former softball player at the University of Iowa (2007-10), Dr. Kaisha (Brown) Heemskerk, a former basketball player at the University of Northern Colorado (2008-12), and Mary (Brown) Lundy, a Wartburg College basketball graduate (2010-15)...brothers include Paul Brown, a former member of the University of Iowa football team (2013), and Billy Brown, a basketball player at the University of North Dakota (2016-20)...brother-in-law Brent Heemskerk is a former Drake basketball player (2004-08) and was a member of the 2008 MVC Championship squad...graduated Cum laude from Loyola Chicago in May 2023 with a degree in Accounting and English...plans on earning her Master's degree in Accounting and will sit for the CPA in 2024...because of the competitive and winning atmosphere that surrounds the women's basketball program, which has been built on the hard work and dedication of this coaching staff and all the players that have come before her, as well as the opportunity to be back competing in her home state of Iowa.
