Spring 2010 — Posted a 82-80-84=246 at the Creighton/North Dakota/Drake triangular in Calif.

Fall 2009 — Finished 46th at Fairway Club Invitational...tied for seventh with teammate Brad Reierson at Briarwood Amateur with a 70-72=142.

Spring 2009 — Finished 18th at MVC Championships with 77-80-74=231...team captain...Fall 2008 — Played in one tournament, tying for 53rd in Fairway Club Invitational. 

Spring 2008 — Played most rounds of any freshman at 26, while owning 79.3 fall/spring stroke average...had 15 rounds in 70s...owned 76.6 spring average...tied for 37th at MVC Championships with 76-79-79=234...tied for 30th at 83-73-71=227 at Colorado Stevinson Ranch Invitational...tied for 40th at Branson Creek Invitational...Fall 2007 — Had 78.0 stroke average...22nd at Big Four Championship with 76-77-153...tied for 75th at Kansas Invitational with 79-80-78=237.  2006-07:

Spring 2007 — Posted 82.4 stroke average, including four rounds in 70s...was 44th in MVC Tournament with 86-79-82=247...enjoyed best 54-hole score of 82-79-81=242 at Diablo Grande Invitational, while tying for 43rd...Fall 2006 — Had 76.6 stroke average based on 14 rounds...posted 11 rounds in 70s...had low round of 71 at Xavier Invitational where he had a season low 54-hole score of 77-74-71=222. 

Other — Competed in 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur after finishing third in sectional qualifying tournament...member of Arizona Boys Junior America’s Cup Team. 

Prep — Co-captain of Brophy College Prep team as high school junior and senior...helped guide team to third-place finish in 2005 Arizona Class 5A state tournament...two-time honorable mention all-state choice...also three-year starting guard on basketball team. 

Personal — Accounting and Management major...recipient of Drake Presidential Scholarship...father, Ted, who is 1984 graduate of Drake, is a pharmacist...son of Ted and Debbie Shimon...born July 1, 1987.
